Meiji Period Japanese Bronze Bowl With Applied Birds Prunus And Herons For Sale
ITEM DESCRIPTION : A good quality Japanese bronze bowl, with applied birds on branches covering the whole of the main body. The bowl has a scene applied to the inside base depicting herons amid prunus plants. ITEM CONDITION : Excellent, a good natural patina , there is a old repair at the very bottom which is about 1.5" x 1 inch. The repair is only external and does not go all the way through to the other side. SIZE : 11 inch tall with a 32 inch circumference around its widest area. AGE : c1880 PLEASE NOTE THIS BOWL IS VERY HEAVY.
