One of the first complete English translations of Mein Kampf was by James Murphyin 1939. It was the only English translation approved by the Third Reich.........................The opening line, "It has turned out fortunate for me to-day that destiny appointed Branau-on-the-Inn to be my birthplace," is characteristic of Hitler's sense of destiny that began to develop in the early 1920s. Hurst & Blackett ceased publishing the Murphy translation in 1942 when the original plates were destroyed by German bombing. "(Source Wiki)
