MELTING CRUCIBLE CUP FOR SCRAP GOLDMELTING

MELTING CRUCIBLE FOR MELTING Gold & Silver LARGE Capacity 150 oz. – 4665 grams.

Melting Crucible is mostly used for melting precious metals, such as Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Brass and more.

Crucible has a 150 Troy oz./4665 Grams, a LARGE Capacity for one that is made of fused silica, can withstand temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C.

NOTE: Crucible size is approximately the same as a Salamander #4 (see picture as a comparison). We also show the Capacity of Crucible with 5 Lbs of Brass Slugs, each slug is approximately 1" x 1".

Crucible can be used with a gas melting furnace or torch melting. A superior quality crucible, made of clay bonded High Grade Fused Silica, extending the life of usage of the Crucible.

The wall thickness of the crucible is 5/16" / 7.9mm. Made in Italy

This crucible may be usedfor melting scrap metals into Ingots as well as pouring metal in lost wax casting operations for vacuum assist castings machine.

Note: Crucibles should always be pre-heated prior to use to eliminate moisture, and glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps extend the life of the crucible. Charge Crucible Slowly, with as small pieces as possible. If Crucible shows wear, discard any further usage.
