The Clover Lamp Company manufactured lamps during the mid-century with an Italian sense of design and flair. This beautifully polished soft satin brass lamp with it\'s starburst design is an apothecary style floor lamp with a stylish white marble base that pairs nicely with the overall curve and grace of the stem and shade. The shade has minor scratches that does not distract from it\'s overall beauty. Most mid-century floor lamps we find are either the tall stem with canisters or the styles with a round table in the middle of the stem. This one is clean, modernistic and a style that still stands the test of time.Approx 47 inches tall with base 6 x 7 inches and the shade 8 inches x 2Please note the nature of single, tubular stem lamps like this one is that the stem tends to lean forward in the direction of the shade because the shade is heavier than the stem. A simple fix if you want the stem to not lean is to put some material such as folded cardboard or wood under one end of the marble base to adjust the level of the lamp. All in all this beauty is a welcome addition to your retro or atomic decor.
