familiar with the concept and was turning out designs
intended to turn a living space into a well appointed interior.Long gone were the whale oil lamps, candles and kerosene.
The electrical age brought light in cleaner, safer and more
abundant supply than ever before. A man could flip a switch
and provide the light of hundreds of candles - thousands if
he had some particular task at hand that
needed such illumination!This Brass Modernist style is a very high end lampcrafted for New York socialites and the cultural elite!A dimming switch integrated into the lamppermits five globes to be adjusted from the softest orangehue to the brightest white light! The ultimate ininterior lighting flexibility with the legendary qualityof Laurel Lamp Company\'s talenteddesigners!It is in excellent condition. Very slight wear to the brass.
