This is a sweet little French Chatelaine mirror, or would look great for your favorite Antique Doll. Not is perfect condition, but still displays nicely.
This is a unique shape, looks like a Artists Pallet! The Dore bronze metal mounts is fancy as well, Sweet little pudgy 3 dimensional Cherub, Puti.There is a small chip out of the porcelain on the left side of mirror. I have marked with a arrow in the picture.
This has its original heavy beveled mirror, but it is in bad condition. The entire mirror surface is covered with scratches. and there are black spots in the silvering as well. I don't know if the scratches can be polished out?
The mirror is totally hand painted & Signed. Signature is hard to see, right under lady, blends in with grass. Looks like retit, or something on that order. Pretty portrait of a young couple, Gentleman is on a ladder, handing something to the young lady. Picking Apples ??? Portrait is bordered by hand applied raised gilt enamel. Mirror measures about 7.5" long not counting the hanging ring. This will mail First class mail unless the buyer wants Priority Small Flat Rate.
