This jacket is an obsolete style no longer worn by any police agency.

DESCRIPTION

Mens vintagecirca 1960's HEAVY HEAVY horsehide leathermotorcycle cop jacket.Probably made by Cal Leather for Joe Alpert's mens store in Denver, Colorado. Many copsordered their motorcycle jackets from mens stores in this time period. (In Los Angeles, they could be ordered from Harris & Frank.)

I've owned many motorcycle jackets over the years(Cal and this style is still one of my all-time favorites. Great for kicking around town at Folsom,IML or MAL, or roaring off on your Harley.

Heavy horsehide. Brass zippers.Twozippered handwarmer pockets.One insidepocket.Zippered sleeves.Laces for side adjustment.Sheepskin lining in cuffs. Mouton sheepskin collar. Badge holder on chest has been removed. Very faint outline remains. I don't know if my camera will show it.

A rare find in great align="center">CONDITION

Very good vintage condition.A few scuffs here and there. All zippers fine. All pocket linings fine. Lining fine.Clean and ready to wear. From a pet and smoke-free home.

The following measurement is taken on theINSIDE of the jacket...

Adjustable waist(measured with the jacket zipped): 34-39" (87-100cm)

REMEMBER: The above measurements are of the item of clothing. Your own body measurements in the chest, waist, and shoulders should be smaller than the clothing for a comfortable fit.

If you purchase something that is the same size as your own chest, waist, and shoulder measurements it will literally be skin-tight!
