This is all AntiqueArt Deco/Nouveau, Victorian, Vintage and newer Collectible jewelry, all neweritems have been stored and are still part of the humongous estate collectionand may have been worn, but minimally.Silver jewelry with stones sometimes loosen over the years, and stonesshift and accumulate hairline cracks. This is part of the charm of vintagejewelry. Anything distracting we willnote in our listings, anything damaged we do not list. Of course we may miss some flaws even afterexamining and we do apologize, but we have also issued refunds for those (whichhave been few). THISsale: MiriamHaskell/Frank Hess Nasturtium Leaf designed lariat, colors of beads and designfrom a late 1930’s Fall Collection, very similar design featured in “MiriamHaskell Jewelry” revised 2nd Edition by Cathy Gordon and SheilaPamfiloff. Instead of the chains, it isall beads, unlike this rare find. Lariatdress clip design consists of tan, coral and chartreuse round and flattenedglass beads, along with gold tone seed beads, in the typical Haskell motifwhereas the components are wired onto dress clips or other findings, solid plateson the back of the leaf clips hide the wire work. This is a Frank Hess design for MiriamHaskell, who was the main designer for Haskell during this period, it isunsigned, very common for this era Haskell jewelry, most pieces signed post1947. Easily identified by the giltnasturtium designed leaves. Pressedleaves are very detailed. Two separategilt chains with 4 stations of each of the round beads on each chain, for atotal of 8 grouping. Chains measureslightly over 23 inches from end to end, clips approx. 1 ¾ X 1 ½ inches. The lariat designs have become quite scarce,more so than ever. Most collectors arenot willing to part with these rare pieces and may not even be worn, but tosimply keep as part of their Haskell collection. It is in very good condition, has not beencleaned or polished since we leave that up to the newest lucky owner and asrequested by collectors! Normal expectedaging on the metal, but we do not see anything distracting whatsoever, nicerthan most found from this era. Anydisplays used are for pictures only and NOT included!
