A fine original hand turned burl bowl by well known crafter M.J. Peterson.
Hand carved from a single piece of burled wood. The artisan has finely exposed the veining and texturing within this single piece of wood.
In the form of a deep bowl with unusual shaped edge.
The bowl is signed and dated by incised carved in markings on the underside-
M.J. PETERSON 75.
Michael Peterson was born in 1954. His works seldom appear on the open market but when they do they usually garner high results.
Nice Condition. No cracks, chips or other damages.
This bowl stands approx. 6-1/2” high. Opening diameter approx. 5”.
