The piece stands approximately 4 1/4 inches tall. The maximum width is about 4 1/4 inches. Unpacked, this piece weighs 1 pound 2.9 ounces. It would be a cool addition to a collection of midcentury modern art pottery.Identification
This piece is marked beneath, \"W+P Pillin.\" This is a collaborative piece by William and Polia Pillin. Polia Pillin (1909-1992) is a listed artist in the online Vasefinder museum. She and her husband, William (1910-1985) lived in Los Angeles and produced pottery.Condition
The vase looks very good overall, with no cracks. It has light wear. There is a tiny (1/16 inch) glaze flake to the interior rim edge that has been colored in. Variations in glazing are as made. As made, there are tripod stilt pulls beneath, with minor associated roughness. Slight asymmetry to the rim is as made. Please review the photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to offerding or buying. Terms of Sale 1. Sales Tax
Before merchandise is shipped to a California address (or picked up or delivered within California), sales tax will be collected, unless the buyer provides a properly completed and valid California resale certificate form by mail (or in person, in the case of pick up or delivery). No exceptions. 2. Payments
The buyer must prepay before merchandise is released. Paypal payments over $250 will only be accepted if delivery is to an address with a confirmed status. Contact the seller in advance of offerding or buying to find out about accepted payment methods for local pick ups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. 3. Shipping and Handling
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller typically ships on Mondays and Thursdays, unless a holiday or special circumstance precludes it. If payment is via Paypal, the merchandise will be shipped on the seller\'s next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Economy shipping within the U.S. includes delivery to a physical address via an economy shipping method of the seller\'s choice. At the discretion of the seller, a faster shipping method may be utilized at no additional cost to the buyer. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping and handling costs may be required. For domestic parcels, a signature will be required for delivery if the total Paypal payment for merchandise inside the parcel is greater than $250 (excluding California sales tax). If international shipping is available, this will be indicated on the \"Shipping and Payments\" tab. International shipping is not free for the buyer; shipping costs are not negotiable. Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international offerding or buying. The seller will determine the international shipping method(s). Some merchandise may be too large to be shipped to certain countries. Some countries have restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility. Please check with your country\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when the item is picked up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. The seller does not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts. U.S. and international government regulations prohibit such behavior. 4. Other Information
The seller makes every attempt to provide an accurate description and photos. Individual computers may display colors differently. The images and descriptions on this page may not be used without the express permission of the seller.
