Monkey Basketball Player, japan (t.p.s) Vintage Wind-up Tin Toy 1950s Great Work For Sale
MONKEY BASKETBALL PLAYER
You are offerding on an old tin litho basketball playing monkey. It is clockwork operated and made in Japan (T.P.S, TPS) in the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is about 4" tall (10 cm) and in very good condition with strong colours. The tin parts and the base show only light wear from age and use. The net on the hoop has a tear which is very typical for this toy. Toy comes with the original ball. The wind-up motor works perfectly. Monkey bends down and scoops up tin basketball. Arms spring up to make throw into basket. Great actions. No missing parts.
