Monopoly
is a board game published by Parker Brothers, a subsidiary of Hasbro.
The game is named after the economic concept of monopoly, the domination
of a market by a single entity. The Monopoly
game board
consists of forty spaces containing twenty-eight properties (twenty-two
colored streets, four railroads and two utilities), three Chance
spaces, three Community Chest spaces, a Luxury Tax space, an Income Tax
space, and the four corner squares: GO, (In) Jail/Just Visiting, Free
Parking, and Go to Jail. In the U.S. versions, the properties are named
after locations in (or near) Atlantic City,
New Jersey. The street names remain the same, except for Atlantic
City's Illinois Avenue, which was renamed Martin Luther
King Jr. Blvd in the 1980s. St. Charles Place no longer exists, as the
Showboat Casino Hotel was developed where it once ran.

in our Margate, NJ marketplace. Most of the items we sell on are
shipped directly from our place of business. We do occasionally ship
from other sources to your home when we are temporarily out of stock or

costs. Also, some larger items are shipped directly from the

Shipping Information :
We ship orders within
2 business days of receipt of payment and use UPS ground service as
our primary shipping method. USPS is used for PO Box deliveries, orders
sent to Hawaii and Alaska, and for lighter items that can be shipped
using Priority Mail small flat rate boxes and padded envelopes, which
help to control shipping costs. Larger items and those noted as coming
directly from the manufacturer may require additional handling and
shipping time. We only ship within the United States.
