DESCRIPTION

This deviceis employedto bea single stroke collection device, however, it may also be used as multi-stroke hand dredge with appropriate handling during use.

Physical size of the pump body is 1.5\" ID x 18\" Long (not counting the nozzle)

TheMosco-ro does not use a typical piston o-ring or donut seal and therefore requires no silicone lubricants for use or maintenance. Waterwill bethe only lubricant you really must have with this deviceand there will be an ample supply of that where you are going!

While one nozzle tubeis provided with the Mosco-ro , The product is being offered so thata user, with their own DIY ability,canadd whatever nozzle design/configuration wanted. All it will take is some1/2\" PVC pipe commonly found at local hardware stores to put together additional nozzles for use.

For example:

The user desires a hand dredge that requires no bending over to collect material - up to a3 foot length of 1/2\" PVC pipe can be added that will eliminate any \"hunching over\" to use the device.

Additionally, this sort of length allows an extended reach out into a water flow or well under a boulder that other standard hand dredgesmight notachieve.

Whether the user needs ashort or long nozzle to access material,a nozzle can besimply constructed to a length most suitable for the immediate need.

OPERATION

To collect material:

Place the nozzlein close proximity or incontact with the loosened material to be collected.

Thenextend thepiston rodto collect and then tilt upward to maintain the material in the body.

Lower the nozzle over a collectioncontainer and compress the piston rodtoeject thematerialfor processing later or directly into a sluice or panfor immediate processing.

Removing any material remaining within the Mosco-ro after your collection activity is completed is very easy. Just remove the rubberized nozzle cap to rinse out the materialand the collected material easily falls right out into your pan, bucket or processing equipment.

To continue: Rinse and reattach the custom nozzle cap with the nozzleand begin again.
