A rare Art Nouveaugold and tourmalinebrooch made by the reknowned firm of Murrle Bennett & Co. This beautiful brooch has fine spiral filigree work and a typical curvy - exaggerated whiplashart nouveau design. In the centre it has a sparkling oval greentourmaline gemstone with a similar en-cabochon stone dropsuspended below.The main stone measures 0.7 cmsdown.On the back it has the clearmakers trademark of M B & Co in a circleplus 15ct for gold quality.It has the usualc clasp and pin fittings.
