Magnificent 1883-1888 pair of silver plated Candelabras by Standard Silver Co.
Estate found is this magnificent pair of Silver plated Candelabras, made by The Standard Silver Co. 1883-1888 .They have 8 different pieces, so are very versatile and can make several arrangements depending on your desire.The Durby Silver Co, bought them in 1921. There are 7 separate pieces, all in excellent condition. They are heavily silver plated over copper as (shown in photo 3). I caused this by polishing with an electric buffer. This can be repaired, though sitting on the table it does not show. The silver mark is along the edge of the bottom rim. Completed they are 19 1/2 inches tall, and the arms are 16 inches wide. They twice a beautiful as the photos show. The photos do not do them justice! They are heavy, one alone weighs 5.7 pounds, so my estimate of them packed for shipping will be 18 pounds. Please wait for an invoice, as I charge only exact shipping and insurance. will send a postage cost to you, but it may not be correct.
