Magpul Moe Trigger Guard Installation Upgrade Screw Kit For Sale
Don't risk breaking your AR Lower Receiver with the roll pin! This is the original and best Screw Kit for Magpul Trigger Guards Many people have broken their receiver trying to install or remove the roll pin for the trigger guard. This kit is simple to install and you can remove your guard safely with no modification to your receiver. It can be difficult or even impossible to repair and may never work right againThis kit is intended for use with the polyMagpul MOE trigger guard See my other sale for the Magpul Enhanced Aluminum Trigger Guard kit This kit is not intended for use with imitation or airsoft parts. It will replace the OEM hardware that comes with the guard. This kit contains: One 12.9 grade screw for the front of the guard Two 12.9 grade shorter screws for the rear of the guard Two brass threaded inserts for the rear of the guard This kit does NOT include a trigger guardThe front hole does not require any modification. The rear trigger guard hole must be drilled with a 5/32" bit to make proper room for the inserts. The smooth side of the insert faces out and the side with the slot faces into the hole, as shown in the picture below. Carefully press one insert at a time into each side of the rear hole. Keep the insert straight at all times to avoid damaging them. I will not send replacement inserts because you damaged them. This can be done with an arbor press, vice, vice-grips, or pliers but care must be taken.
Press the inserts in until they are flush, they must be flush with the surface. Now the guard is ready to install. Use a 2mm hex wrench to install the screws. Be careful not to over tighten them. They just need to be snug. The two shorter screws are for the rear and the longer is for the front. When installed properly it will look like this: Need more than one?
