These are rare old obsolete miniature size mess dress MSSR (Malaysian Special Service Regiment) Parachutist Jump wings from the Southeast Asian Nation of Malaysia (formerly Malaya). These wings were once worn by Malaysian Special Forces known as GERAKHAS. They are tough jungle fighters and some of the best combat trackers in the world. The wings are illustrated in Bragg and Turner\'s PARACHUTE WINGS Book published in 1985 as B&T 1484.
This style parachute badge is long obsolete and getting very difficult to find. It was obsolete when I found this badge in the back of an old uniform store in Malaysia while I was there 25 years ago.Please note: The US Dime is not included and is only used to show size.Please look at my other listings in my store for other Malaysian badges in this series.
