Marklin 0 Ga. Midland Rwy Set, 1910s 4-volt:
See my other sale ending May 19th. I have Marklin and Bing tenders and a Marklin 0 ga. Midland Railway set.
Description: Sold as one lot here is a rare Marklin 0 ga. English-market Midland Rwy set with a 4-volt electric loco from the 1910s or 20s. Cars are the coupewagen type with opening doors with earlier cast handles. Engine has some big scratches, mostly on one side, and some touch up. Four-volt motor and bulb are sold as not test tested and being 4 volts, it is a DC-only motor so you need something like an HO DC transformer if you want to try to run it. Cars have darkened as this Midland red litho does. They have some oxi. All doors and handles are present which is not the case on more than half of these. Another opportunity, especially, for U.S. collectors to get a scarce and unusual Marklin set.
Outside U.S. Buyers: U.S. postage has gotten very expensive to ship overseas. Take into account shipping costs to your country before offerding. Bear in mind that multiple purchases will increase the weight and size of the box and may add significantly to the cost quoted for one item.
