This rare , tin lithographed friction toy is manufactured by Trademark Modern Toys and dates from the 1950\'s.
The it is marked below the driver\'s left arm, on the fender and JAPAN is marked on the rear. Patent numbers are listed on the right fender.
The head of the driver is missing, unfortunately but the graphics and paint are in very good shape. There are a few dents and some minor scratches.
I would say this toy is in played with condition.
The friction part works but the car doesn\'t really go very far, maybe 6 inches or so before slowing down.
The graphics are really great! Rockets, spaceman, Saturn and lots of stars.
