Marx 1962 ‘OPERATION MOON BASE’ Play Set #4654. Released by Marx the same year John F Kennedy gave his legendary ‘Moon Speech’. Complete & Unassembled. Purchased from the New Jersey Warehouse and kept in storage until now. Contents opened for inventory & photos then carefully repacked. Huge Vacuform Moon base is uncut, measures 32”x25”x 9”. All items in unplayed with condition. 1/4” chips in outer flange Moon Base vacuform ( photo 7). Unassembled tin, many parts still attached to accessory Sprues including red capsule astronaut. Moon Ship Pristine with parts on Sprue. Decal Sheet. Fleet of Lunar Vehicles.....Flying Saucer Launcher. Exploding lunar mountain. 13 bags; some have tears from storage.
