One (1) Matchbox Moko Lesney Original Type B1 Box (blue end flap, no number, no description; faces showing three colourgraphics, with \'MATCHBOX\' SERIES in arc over model image and black trademark ribbon below, number on either side) for 7a Horse Drawn Milk Cart, early 1954 issue. EMPTY BOX ONLY. 57 mm long, 27 mm wide, 37 mm high. Please carefully examine the high definitionphotos for detail. All external surfaces are shown and internal closures can beseen in the last two photos. This box shows all original closurespresent and intact. No repairs done or necessary. No significant closure fold fatigue is visible. No significant wrinkling or creasing is apparent. The end flaps show very slight edge effects from use. This 7a, B1 type type box is very clean, bright, and rigid for displayor archive storage purposes. Any blemishes, if present, are visible in thephotos. This box is in very much better than average overall condition for abox of this vintage. Bearin mind that his is a 60 year old cardboard box and early Lesney used agrade of tag board not meant to last much beyond shipment to the hobby shoppe.It is astounding that they have been preserved in any serviceable condition bysome collectors. This is an excellent example of a survivor. They are becoming hard to find in any condition.
