Dressdescription: Inspiredby Renaissance fashion, this long, form-fitted gown is made from a blackvelvet and is accented with gold-colored trim onthe arms and waist and gold satin lining on the armtippets. There is also a gold satin panel inset inthe front of the velvet skirt. The sleeves feature satin-lined tippetshanging down from the upper arm and a more fitted lower arm. Thesleeves and skirt give the look of wearing both an over- andunder-dress. The dress is fitted at the waist and bodice and thenflares out from the hips in a skirt that drapes beautifully. The backof the gown closes with a zipper. In my store, I also carry thisgown in other color combinations as well as a full range of sizes,including S, M, L, XL/1X, 2X, 3X and 4X.

Hereis a helpful hint on fittingyourself for this gown: most of the measurements here aresomewhat flexible because the velvet in the dress has a slight give toit and can stretch to accommodate a few inches here or there. But theWAIST measurement does NOT stretch because there is a non-stretchyribbon trim around the waistline (see the above pictures). So if youhave to pick one measurement to stick with, it is the waist measurement.If you have questions about which size is rightfor you, please don\'t hesitate to contact me.
