Medieval Valentine Armoury Armor Armour Halloween Costume Knight King Jousting For Sale
Rare American made full suit of armor armour made by Rob Valentine of Valentine Armouriesfrom my personal collection. Was $3850, now reduced to $3,585plus $65 shipping. Rob Valentine would charge almost $5,000 to make this same armour today if not more. Does not include chainmail skirt of shield or weapons but they are also available for purchase from my personal collection. Also other armor designs are available from my collection. This is the good stuff. Most real American and European armourers have gone out of business due to cheap and wrongly made armour from India where cheaply priced armorand not accuracy or qualitynow rules. Educate yourselves folks and don' settle for less. I only have this one suit of armor of this veriety available. Once sold, your chance to buy this type of armor is gone forever as I know the armourer personally and he travellled to Europe even as I did to study these suits of armour. Most Indians armourershave never travelled 20 miles outside their own village that make thesecheap knock offs of this same armor and work 100% off of pictures and guess at the measurements etc. It is a fact that 99.9% of American selling armor today are just middle men and are not artist or armourers themselves. My first real swordI made was 38 (about 1975)years ago for a high school playI was in and beforethatin elementary Imadearmor from, cardbourd and foil and glue. Imagination, aquired skills and tens of thousands of hours reading helped me. My first authentic mail (sometimes called chain mail but is actually the wrong term) was made in 1977 with two correctly made coifs and one coat. A very labourus job to do where a twelve hour day leads to a few inches of work. A chance to buy one of the last high quality American suits of armor complimentingthe time when plate armor was really just taking off in Mediveal Europe.
A customized stand to display this armor or stained wood and welded sqare tubbing stock (stogest there is) steel frame is available for $275. Only two of thesestandsleft that are available and they are also made in America. No Indian stuff like every one else.
