Memories Of My Experiences In The United States Navy 1953 To 1957:
Memories of My Experiences in the United States Navy from May 1953 to Feb. 1957 His name is George Louis Boswell, Jr. (Swabbie) Daily Louis wrote letters, diary entries, opinions, pictures of his experience in the war in this part of the world. The language he uses fits the times and his opinions are first hand as he fights, travels go off the ship, and picks up people and other soldiers to take them to safe places. It is interesting to see all the details and future dreams he wrote about to his parents. I like this "diary" because of its historic importance in the missions Louis went and his views about the war and his daily activities Louis typed this whole set of pages and bound them together himself. He died and never got to publish his memoirs. This publication is great for historians, fellow military people, and movie and book writers who might use this to get more accuracy in everything down to what he calls his dad and speaks of his affection for them and his family. The booklet is at least an inch thick. There are two pictures of the ship he was assigned to and test results for the long distant college courses he took while at sea.
