While I bought this watch many years ago, I have hardly worn it because I do not care to wear watches, that\'s it is in excellent shape. It does need a new battery, actually it takes two batteries, and I recommend you use a professional jeweler to accomplish that task. If for some reason the watch does not work after installing two batteries, I will refund the purchase price and shipping upon return to me.
