This is a new, hand-engraved Haida cuff bracelet by First Nations artist, David Quist. Measuring 1 1/2" wide by 7 1/4" long, it will fit a wrist between 7 3/4" - 8"in circumference.This bracelet depicts an Owl design, with two human ancestor figures hidden in the bird's wings. The Owl represents wisdom and mystery amongst most Northwest Native communities in the Pacific Northwest.David works mainly with gold, silver and gems. He has his own jewellery manufacturing studio which enables him to reproduce his own unique creations. He has pieces in the Smithsonian and the Museum of Civilization in Hull, Quebec. David is known for his intricate crosshatching and his complex designs.
