The Mikroma II is a tiny, rugged, solidly built 16mm viewfinder camera manufactured inthe late 1950s by Meopta in Prerov (then Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic).It measures 75×43×40 mm, weighs 230 grams and utilizes a fixed Mirar 20 mm f/3.5coated lens (coating looks good). Using a 5x eye loupe with the shutter set on \"B\", thelens on this Mikroma looks fairly clear exhibiting minor cleaning marks, some internaldust, and what may be some lens separation (hard to tell with tiny lens). The apertureblades look clean, the shutter speeds sound good, but we cannot authenticate actualspeeds; the only issue with the lens is a loose distance scale ring. The chrome bodyand the internals are all exceptionally clean with no evidence of moisture intrusion orcorrosion and the green leatherette covering is completely intact and blemish free. Theonly signs of use or wear on this camera are minor scratches and rub marks on the base.Included is beautiful leather case, matching green lens cap, and one film cassette. ThisMikroma II is in superb condition for a 55 year old camera and makes a lovely display item.
