About the Artist
After gathering years of experience, Michelle was hired by Disney Design Group where she has spent the last ten years creating artwork for Disney's Theme Park Merchandise and special events. She trained, worked and was inspired by Disney legend Ralph Kent for the first 6 years. Michelle began painting for the Disney Galleries in 1998, and became a true Disney artist. Her talent evolved with each piece. "Through my paintings I aspire to recreate the classic Disney magic, which allows each of us to be a kid again. Michelle's work has been featured at Disney's Festival of the Masters, Epcot's Food and Wine Festival, Magic Kingdom's 999 Happy Haunts Event, Disneyana Conventions and Disney Cruise Line. Michelle now lives in Florida with her husband and daughter, where she spends time painting on their front porch. Her art feeds her life's passion and her family fuels her passion for life.
We are an authorized dealer for hundreds of fine art artists and publishers around the country. We have many prints in our inventory and thousands more available directly from the publisher/artist or through our network of art dealers and private collectors. All prints are in mint condition unless otherwise stated in the listing details.
This Print Should Increase In Value As You Own It!
Much of the art we list is collector's editions produced on limited edition runs. That means there are only a fixed number of pieces available. When these prints are sold out by the artist or publisher, the only way to get a copy is on the secondary market. Unlike posters or prints you find at the mass dealers online, there are only a limited number of these art pieces in circulation. This limited availability makes them APPRECIATE in value. You hang them on your wall, enjoy the art, and can then sell them for more than you purchased them in the future. Now that’s great wall art!
Definitions of terms that may help you navigate the collector's/limited edition market:
Artist Proof (AP) – exclusive subset of any given release traditionally reserved for use by the artist and publisher. Typically these were used by the artist to verify colors during the printing process or for personal use. Collectors give greater value to APs, as they are often more difficult to obtain. These are signed and numbered separately from the edition. The letters “AP” can be found written beside the numbers (AP 1/20).
COA – Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist which verifies that the print is part of their specific limited edition set.
Dimensions – marked in inches, listed width by height (w" x h") and refer only to the image area on a print or canvas. O/A represents the outside dimensions to the edge of the print or canvas, if known.
Gallery Wrap – stretched canvas with a clean, staple-free edge which can be displayed with or without a picture frame.
Giclée – digital printing technology in which incredibly fine jets of ink literally “spray” the image onto paper or canvas. This process builds the fine art reproduction in infinitesimal increments as the paper or canvas passes beneath.
Lithography – photomechanical or digital printing technique that transfers an image from metal or paper plates onto rubber rollers (called printing blankets), then onto the final paper or canvas.
Edition Size – number of limited reproductions in any given print or canvas release. If there is one number, this is the total number of reproductions in the edition. We have a supply of these and are offering one of these numbered editions. If there are two numbers (for example 157/250), the number on the bottom (250) refers to the total number of reproductions in the edition and the number above (157) is the specific #’d edition we have for sale.
Open Edition – literally unlimited availability of prints. These are printed on high-quality digital printers using high-quality inks. Because the production is not limited, it is the most affordable option. But they don’t appreciate much, either. Artists with open editions typically don’t sell the same piece in a limited edition.
Original – the work of art actually painted or drawn by the artist. There is only 1 of these, and it is usually the most expensive version of the art piece.
Remarque – sketch or watercolor, usually handmade by the artist, which may accompany a special fine art edition.
S/N – the edition is limited and signed by the artist, certified and approved, and then numbered.
While we strive to know which limited editions are still available, every once in a blue moon a piece is sold out BEFORE we have a chance to remove the art from our catalog. There is a (very slight) chance that a piece is not available if the Availability field above shows “LIMITED.” You are welcome to contact us and ask about specific availability on these pieces prior to purchasing. If you do purchase and we find out it is not available, we will refund your entire cost immediately and give you 5% discount toward the purchase of another piece!
We strive to deliver our art as quickly as possible. All unframed pieces ship either flat or rolled in a tube. It may ship directly from the artist or publisher or from our inventory. Occasionally, a dealer requires that we take delivery to inspect the art prior to shipping to you…and this increases our delivery time (we will let you know if this is the case). Our shipping costs, including FREE Shipping, are for US delivery only. For International shipping, including shipments to Canada, please contact us to request a shipping quote prior to purchase.
Framing is not included, unless specifically described by the listing. We believe that every fine art edition should be framed to each individual’s needs. The frames in the catalog are for display only unless otherwise specified. However, we are also a master frame shop and many works we sell are already framed. If you would like your limited edition art framed and matted, we will do it at a substantial DISCOUNT over any frame shop you canfind locally. Please contact us for details.
