This MCM Vintage, Circa 1940s, Studio Art Pottery Bowl/Dish designed by Gunnar Nylund for ALP/Rorstrand SWEDEN is a Beautifully-Formed, Tulip-Shaped Bowl with an Eye-Catching Flare at the Top Rim.

The Trompe L\'Oeil effect of the Painted Wood Grain finish is fabulous -- earthy and magical with its Gold Trim and Highlights throughout. The Spiral in the Center is the Perfect, Naturalistic/Abstract Visual Touch, like counting the rings of a tree. The Mahogany and Deep Brown Colors are Rich and Pleasing to the Eye -- a Beautiful Accent for your home decor. This Medium-Small Bowl is quite deep and very versatile for everyday use.
