Please scroll down under this description for additional views. A stunning punch of color and design for your home- vintage Mid-century modern THONET side table, 27\" tall, 18\" square top. Thonet label under the top is extremely worn and difficult to read. The legs are steam bent laminated wood with maple finish- the finish is original and each leg retains the metal slide at the bottom. The finish is worn and has a few marks and scratches but with minimal cleaning and perhaps some wax I think they will glow. Some nicks in the wood at the very bottom of the legs. The underside of the table is painted a very dark brown which seems to be the original color over plywood- very little difference in surface shown when the legs are removed. The frame of the table is painted a matte black(not an original paint job) and the surface is a sunburst mosaic of white ceramic tile pieces with charcoal color grout. The tile is obviously cut and pieced by hand. There are some areas of surface loss to the grout and a chip of wood out of the upper edge of the top.
