Mid Century Modern Vintage Wall Sconce - Arteluce Paulson Stilnovo Tomado Era For Sale
This is a really cool wall light fixture, and a great vintage Mid Century Modern addition to a rustic Eames era cabin. While I saw one similar several years ago I cannot find my notes about it, therefore cannot remember who it is by-- Stilnovo, Arteluce, Poulson and with a bit of Tomado color thrown in? Each separate light works and can be turned on/off individually. Condition: Well used to speak frankly. The colored shades have nicks on the paint job so please use the zoom feature to see how many. The brass push-button at the bottom plate controlling all of them as a whole occasionally gets sticky & right now is stuck on the 'on' setting, therefore as of late I have been turning it off by the individual shades. The black shade is missing it's original white turn button and has a replacement (I have never kept an eye out for a match but could be out there taken from another fixture). Also, the 'hook' plate is missing on the back of the bottom mount thus I have had to use long screws to mount it into the wall directly. As you can see the clear sealant has been peeling off the brass and caused the discoloration/tarnish. I have not had the heart to try to polish the tarnished surfaces, nor re-paint with a clear-coat sealer. The wiring is passable, but so easy to replace if you so chose.All that said it has proved a very cool decor item!Measures: 23" + 1/4 tall (plate to Projection off wall at top: 12" including black Each shade: 5"+1/2 long by 3"+1/2 diameter Cord: 11' 6"Don't hesitate to write with any questions, and note that I do not send an invoice unless requested. *** In looking back over the pictures I see I forgot to point out that the white shade's switch is missing it's bushing bolt (visible in the 5th pic), but again this has not stopped me from using it and it could be found in lamp repair supply shops and online.
