Great design from the dynamic husband and wife team Massimo and Lella Vignelli. Offered is a pair of original \"handkerchief\" arm chairs. Manufactured by Knoll ca.1980\'s and designed by Vignelli Designs. Inspired by the lightness and ease of a handkerchief drifting in the wind with ergonomic sensibilities. The shell is made of compression molded plastic on a beautiful white enameled steel base...the arm rests absolutely divine! A stacking design...these come with the optional stacking bumpers. Embossed mark and early Knoll paper label (photo #3). Dimensions: 26\" wide x 22.5\" deep x 29\" tall...17\" seat height...26\" arm height. In excellent vintage condition...these have been in my personal collection for over 10 years...always inside chairs...the bases were restored and powder coated. There is slight edge wear on one seat (photo # 12). A bold and oh so elegant statement to any well appointed modern interior! Smoke/pet free. Thank you for looking!
