Unique Mid-Century Hammat Original Pottery Cornucopia"Hammat Originals" were designed by Flora Eckert Hammat during the mid-1940's through the late 1950's. She studied art at a university in California but resided in Oklahoma. Her products were categorized as "bio-morphic" meaning she used the forms found in the natural world. Her glazes were water resistant and highly desired by florists for displays and in flower shows. Flora Eckert Hammat's pottery line was sold at Neiman-Marcus stores, as well as other prominent department stores.
