Miniature antique lemon gilt wood and gesso frame, c1880. The outsidedimensions are apx6 3/8\" X 4 1/4\". The molding is apx 1/2\" wide; there is a slender 3/16\" scoop on the inside edge; the outside of the moldings have original brown mustard paint. Original wavy glass. Overall very good condition, only a few tiny flakes to the gesso. The frame presents a custom-sized reproduction of a Victorian gift book cover, \"Love\'s Emblem\", featuring pink roses in the manner of Catherine Klein (easily replaced with a family photo). I will enclose the back, and add a hanger, upon request. Enlarge photos for detail.
