Miniature Dooling "f" Tether Car 99 Cents For Sale
Measuring 8.25''x 4.25''The last few years I have seen several nice Dooling "F" miniature Tether Cars. Produced from readily available casting kits and usually powered by readily available cox engines. I have never seen one as nice as this example. It has many details I didn't know were available, and possibly one of a kind. I purchased this car finished.Perhaps the most unique component is the actual scale Dooling engine. These are produced in Sweden by Arne Hende and are truly remarkable. Patterned after the Dooling "61" but scaled down to .09 A beautiful engine and New, never fired.The ring and pinion rear end has excellent mesh, and depending on engine firing rotation the axle and ring gear can be flipped.The front axle is floating, as was the full size car.Fit and Finish of this car are very nice. The paint is automotive grade, complete with clear coat.
