Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1880’s, decorated in a Japonesque style with gold, silver and copper enameled slightlyraised decoration with butterfly, dragonflies and fruiting vine on a whiteground, within a gilt pierced rosette light blue border with white slip enamelfloral festooning within a gilt outer border. Red printed factorymark. Diameter 9.75 inches.
