Welcome up for your consideration is this beautiful Mobil Pegasus \"Flying Red Horse\" porcelain coated gas station sign, in excellent, wonderful condition for the age. This sign came from a \"full service\" mobil gas station, in the Pennsylvania area. (This sign was found in a mobil bulk oil plant) This classic old sign is back from the good old days, when full service meant full service,and has significant value in the collectable world. in fact many rate it as one of the most prized memorabilia to be had....the \"Big red flying horse\". It is a4 piece bolt on, there is the bodyONLY, { I COULD NOT FIND THE frontlegs, back legsor the tail to this unit. I found the legs and tail going the other way for the horse flying left, which i will be listing shortly...
There are some porcelain chips as seen in photos, these are all repairable by a competent porcelain artist, in my opinion the chips add character and originality.
As far as shipping goes, the buyer will need to make arrangements for crating and pick up service. The buyer will be responsable for all costs,I would demand a sign off letter as to condition before release of item. I will help in any way I can.Or you can pick up in person, which is the prefered option.

I believe this to be the largest one made in this style. About 94 inches from front hoof to rear hoof, 3 inches thick (The border of the sign that shows white) Both original brackets are still on it. The back side is in extremely good condition. All the mounting stands are solid. The sign weights approx 60 pounds,( guessing) it is a little hard to weight. It takes 2 solid people to maneuver, so as to not let it flex.
This sign is also for sale locally.
I have seen this same type sign, completed which to my knowledge,is the largest ever made, sell between a high of 10,000 to a low of $7,900
