Nice Model1 Kitfox Experimental Aircraft with folding wings. Currently based in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Comes with the custom made light--weight transport trailer. I initially purchased this aircraft about 3 years ago in San Antonio, Texas and drove it to North Dakota with my little Toyota, Corolla. Mechanically sound and no serious accidents that I know of. Has a 582 Rotax, which was fuel injected, but because I did not trust the older njector pump, I removed it and went to oil/gas mix for better safety, but I still have the pump around someplace if you wanted to put it back on, although I would suggest just investing in a new one and bolt it on.. The plane is STOL and pretty much stall resistent. I am a former Avid flyer and enjoy the magic of this type of STOL flying.Itwas flown on a frequent bases by the former owner in Texas. Have overhauled carburator and rebuilt the cooling system and replaced numerous wires and hoses. Flushed reduction system, etc., etc. Only thing I would still update is the brake system which is now cable and should be hydralic. No radio. Trailer in excellent condition and probably would cost about $2,000 to build new.. Wings pivot back and lock in with just a few pins and bolts. Has tundra tires. An older Kitfox but still a fine airplane and in good shape for those who like the joy of flying an airplane that doesn\'t like to stall. I would be willing to trailer the plane within 500 miles for $2 a mile.
