Lake of Elkhorn, Montana, circa 1890s.Description: The token is made from brass, and measures about 25mm in diameter.Mr. Lake is listed as the proprietor of a saloon in the 1892 Bradstreet and 1896 Dun. Elkhorn, in Jefferson County of Western Montana, was a silver mining town most active in the 1890s. Today it is a ghost town.Condition: Very good condition with brown toning.
