Up for sale is a Rare Baccarat Art Nouveau Standish / Inkwell. The piece is not complete. It is missing a mermaid that sits on the top. I have done some research for this piece and at sale these realize roughly 10 to 12 thousand when they are complete. I have seen asking prices of up to $48,500. I would assume that any mermaid should fit on the piece as there is just a post where the mermaid fits on. The piece is very large and very heavy. It measures 15" wide 8" deep and 6" in height. The inkwell covers are in the shape of a seashell and a compass. The glass inserts are present. The bottom of one of the inkwells is marked Baccarat. There is scratching to the base, which is pretty understandable due to the weight of the piece. Could be polished if one were so inclined. I would imagine that somewhere out there someone has just the mermaid ( glass does break ).

International Shipping: I ship via USPS for all international shipments. You will have the option to ship 1st class or priority. 1st class mail comes with no tracking and no insurance and is only available in most areas if the package is under 3 pounds. Priority mail is more expensive, but comes with insurance. Please note that if you choose the less expensive 1st class rate of shipment I will not be held responsible for lost items. I pack very securely when shipping internationally and have yet to have an item break. I welcome international purchases.

Insurance: All items are insured. The only exception to that are first class international shipments.

Payment methods: Paypal, any other methods of payment must be discussed prior to offerding. ( I do take just about any other form of payment – even trade items )

Fine Print: All international buyers must pay the exact freight amount for items purchased. Payment arrangements must be made within 3 days of winning the sale. Returns are accepted on a case by case basis depending on the specific situation. I do combine shipping on multiple items. Upgraded shipping is available upon request. You will receive an email with tracking information once the item ships. ( except for international shipments )
