This is an exceptionally large well crafted Continental silver plate tea tray.

Classic rectangular form.

Elegant Greek inspired egg and dart border work.

Smooth recessed centre.

Well cast disc and twin acanthus centre panelled handles. Rising from bead collar spread leaf terminal.

Never monogrammed.

This Continental tea tray is 33 inches across handles and t is 21 inches across.

Hallmarked as shown. What appears to be a worn French mark, though we cannout guarantee this.

Overall good condition. The egg and dart border retains its detail. There are a few noticeable scuffs and small shallow bumps, mild wear thru of plate along rim and moreso on handles as shown.
