Altho unmarked, I believe this biscuit jar is Mt Washington, Crown Milano, from the 19th Century. The pattern matches another one of these that I have in a separate sale. Any info would be appreciated. The glass appears to be glossy milk colored inside and pale yellowish tan on the exterior, with hand painted flowers. The metal hardware appears to be silverplate, and is marked under the lid (last pic). This in superb condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. See my other sales for more glass jars, also listed today. Measuring about 6.5\" high and 7\" wide, this will weigh 4 pounds when securely packed for shipment.
