ORIGINALMYRTLE BEACH SOUTH CAROLINA AIR FORCE BASE 1956 REACTIVATION PRESENTATION PLAQUE - GABRESKI. Bought from local estate. I will be saleing off some items that I obtained from directly from top ETO ace Gabby Gabreski years ago and some from his estate. I consider any items of Gabby's to be scarce as most of his items wound up in major museums. This sale is for a post WWII piece - a hand painted on hard plastic / lucite plaque displayed at the opening ceremony of the reactivation of the Air Force Base in 1956 and introducing the 354th flighter group and their F-100s. . Approx 20" diameter. Air Force marked on back. Given to the then commander Gabby Gabreski. Good display piece. Good condition!Guaranteed original!
