You are offerding on this named and dated ( inscribed on back Arch Groom Mar. 1860) Civil war era Officers belt buckle from a Missouri estate as shown...According to records Archibald Groom was a Captain in the Civil war in the 48th Regiment E.M.M. Enrolled Missouri Militia .....Also included is a post card showing Mr. Groom later in life in by a Fairbanks Scale sign in Kansas City....Buckle also has the Number 5 stamped on one edge and the number 106 on the opposite side of the same GENERAL sale POLICIES.
