Near Mint 1950's Original 19" Champion 98 Tin Race Car(racer) Japan Yonezawa For Sale
Here is one of the nicest Yone Champion 98 tin litoed racer that you will see on . This car was played with only a few times and was stored away safely for many years. It is all original with the little clear plastic windshield still intact from the factory in Japan where it was made by Yonezawa toy company in the 1950's. It is about 19'' long, 7'' tall and 8'' to outside of wheels, a large toy by any means. The toy had some scratches from being played with and a couple of small dents(see in pictures) and there is some rusting on some of the brushed plated brite metal parts, mostly the grill area. I'm not trying to say this car is mint but it's a lots better than most I've seen on in the last few years.The paint is super bright with NO surface rust whatsoever anywhere on body. As most of you collectors know this is a model of the 1952 Indy race car that Yone got in trouble for producing. There is on this toy and it starts at $9.95 so let the fun begin, you won't be disappointed. Thanks for your interest in our sale, good luck in offerding. The pictures don't truely reflex how nice this toy really is. I haveincluded a custom stand to display the toy because of the toy's weight, the tires will sometimes get flat spots on them from sitting. This little stand fixes that problem and doesn't hurt the racer and is almost impossible to see when displayed.
