This sale is for a beautiful and finely painted Chinese porcelain charger plate. The plate is marked on the back with a six character Guangxu mark and it dates to the period. It is brightly enameled in the center and accented with gilt which is surrounded by eight Buddhist emblems all surrounded by an enameled ruyi border. It measures about 13.5 inches (34.25cm) across and is in excellent condition with only light wear to the enamels. We did find an identical charger that recently sold in London for $3,000.
