This is for anice old Georgian folding magnifying glass circa 1800-1810.It has a silver frame and folds into its handle when not in use, the handle profiles the shape of the lens. The silver frame is nicely reeded around the edge and there is a little screw which allows thelens to be replaced.The covers aremade from the usual materials suchthing's are made from and they have nice littlesilver rivet covers over the pins at either end. Itis in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, there are bo chips or cracks to the covers, no dings or dents in the silver and the lens is perfectly crisp and clear giving excellent clarity and magnification. It measures 83mm x 38mm and stands mm tall.
