CIRCA 1940-1950 MACHINE MEASURES 6 1/2\" X 3 1/2\" X 7\"Up for sale is a charming antique Singer Sewhandy toy sewing machine. It\'s stamped \"Made in Great Britain\". It\'s in very nice/good condition. The black lacquer paint surface on the machine is good. The metal parts shine. The hand wheel turns and the needle post moves up and down. It has no needle and is missing the tiny screw for the needle post. It has the rest of its parts. It includes the original Singer Sewhandy instruction book and the original SIMANCO table clamp. It comes in its Singer box. It has some wear and a blue stain on the paper graphics on the lid. The sides have been taped. The paper graphics on the lid are fun for display.The machine is listed in Glenda Thomas\' Toy Sewing Machine Reference book II, where she valued at up to $175. The machines in her book have increased in value since publication.
