This coin is inGreat Condition, with full "LIBERTY" and most of its original detail, including even a hint of its original mint luster.Ithas NEVERbeen alteredfor jewelry and, in fact, appears much as it did when it first rolled out of the Philadelphia Mint.
Genuine, it is America'sFirstGold Dollar.
Minted 160 years ago in 1853 of .900 Fine Gold, it weighs just under 1.7 grams on my very accurate scale.
