Description Vintage 1940s 50s Erphila Ceramic Dachshund Teapot - Made In Germany. Marked w green Erphila Hallmark, the #5 & 6703B.

Well Cared For,Clean &In Very Good To Great Condition. If you look closely it shows a very fine hairline fracture at the collar lip that runs down approx 2\".This is not glaring & piece displays nicely - as you can see by the contrasting photosit is more apparent w aflash.No otherhairline fractures,no underglazing or top glazeflaws & nodamage, cracks,orchips.*Documented In Full/See Large Photos Below*Due to thefracture- I am selling this piece as a collectible only & consider it not functional.Donot usefor beveragessincethe fracture may expandas lowfired ceramic is porous & Iam not sure if food safe glazes were used.Shows typical finecrazing which is inherent to kiln firing but no staining to crazing inside or outw nocalcified build up at interior. Judging from the interior, it looks to havenot been used for beverages -the crazing would be stained.Slip cast low fireceramic wunder-glaze & top coat clear glaze.
